Passports Application (Emergency)

Report a Lost or Stolen Australian Passport

·Free

If you have lost your Australian Passport, or if it has been stolen, you must report this to us as soon as possible.

• You must report the loss or theft of your passport to the local authorities (Bangladesh police). We will need to sight the police report before we are able to accept an application for a new replacement passport.

• Send an email to consular.dhaka@dfat.gov.au to let us know your passport has been lost or stolen. Please attach the police report, and a scan of your passport bio-data page (if you have it), if not, please provide your full name, date of birth, and passport number, and the circumstance of the loss or theft.

Note:
You do not need to make an appointment to report your passport as lost or missing, if you are able to provide us with the above information via email.

New Passport:
Once you have reported the above, you may make an appointment for a new passport.

Passport (Child, Parental Consent)

Each person who has parental responsibility for the child has to consent, unless an Australian court order permits the child to have an Australian passport, travel internationally, or live or spend time with a person outside Australia.
