Australian Child Passport Application

The Australian High Commission can certify copies of documents issued in Australia or intended for use in Australia. Original documents have to be sighted in order to certify documents and you have to bring along your passport. Fees are applicable for each document and notarial service. Cash transactions are not acceptable.

Emergency Passports can be issued if you need to travel urgently due to a compassionate or compelling reason, such as the death or serious illness of an immediate family member or an unexpected need for urgent business travel. Australian Emergency Passport Application

Australian Senior (75 & above) Passport Application

Replacement passport will be a reissue of your existing passport with new photo, same biodata details and same expiry date but new passport number. This is not applicable if you have lost your passport. Please ensure your application is complete. Australian 16/17-year Old Passport Application

Please ensure your application is complete. In addition to your birth and citizenship certificate, you will have to provide a combination of other supporting documentation (Australian driving licence, Medicare card, credit or debit card, foreign residency Id card, foreign passport etc.). Australian First Adult Passport Application

The Australian High Commission Consular Section, Dhaka can authenticate the signatures and seals on an Australian public document if it is on the Signature and Seals database. Email us for further information. Please bring along your Passport and the appointment confirmation email for entry access.

The Australian High Commission in Dhaka can witness signatures on a form or declaration that are intended for use in Australia.  Fees are applicable for each document and notarial service. Each person who has parental responsibility for the child has to consent, unless an Australian court order permits the child to have an Australian passport, travel internationally, or live or spend time with a person outside Australia.

If you have lost your Australian Passport, or if it has been stolen, you must report this to us as soon as possible.

 • You must report the loss or theft of your passport to the local authorities (Bangladesh police). We will need to sight the police report before we are able to accept an application for a new replacement passport. 

• Send an email to consular.dhaka@dfat.gov.au to let us know your passport has been lost or stolen.  Please attach the police report, and a scan of your passport bio-data page (if you have it), if not, please provide your full name, date of birth, and passport number, and the circumstance of the loss or theft.

Note:
You do not need to make an appointment to report your passport as lost or missing, if you are able to provide us with the above information via email.

New Passport:
Once you have reported the above, you may make an appointment for a new passport.
